About
What this project is
Mobile Based Attendance and Tracking is a workforce presence platform. It is not a standalone timesheet and not a consumer GPS tracker. It is the system a company uses when office and field people must share one clock, one map, and one set of exceptions.
The mobile app is for employees: punch, tasks, map, history. The web portal is for Super Admins, Admins, and Supervisors: sites, shifts, live positions, reports, alerts, and billing. Both write to the same attendance record.
Presence is earned, not declared. A punch is checked against an assigned geofence. A task completion can require GPS at that stop. Late, early, left-site, and missed punch-out are raised from the shift window instead of a spreadsheet after the fact.
Live map
Supervisors see who is on site, who left the fence, and where field staff last reported — without calling around.
Tasks and routes
Multi-stop work, daily recurrence, and due times. Completing a location-bound task needs GPS at that stop.
Automatic compliance
Late arrival, early leave, under-hours, left-site, and missed punch-out are logged against the shift window.
Who it is for
Four roles, one company record
Portal logins are for people who administer. Field and office staff punch only from the phone.
Super Admin
Owns companies, licenses, seats, and feature flags. Opens a workspace, issues a trial, and sees every org from one login.
Admin
Runs one company: users, locations, shifts, billing, and org settings. Invites staff and decides punch policy (biometric or face).
Supervisor
Assigns tasks and shifts, watches the live map, and opens attendance, compliance, and reports. Does not manage billing or user accounts.
Employee
Uses the Flutter app only — punch, today’s tasks, map, history, and their own performance. No portal login.

Five ways to mark attendance
Pick what fits the site. Every method still goes through the server GPS check against assigned locations.
Auto geofence
When the phone enters an assigned radius, the app can record attendance without a tap. The server still verifies the coordinates against that site.
Manual punch
Punch In or Out from Home. Optional fingerprint or face gate if the company requires it. Works for office desks and field stops.
Office kiosk QR
A public kiosk page on an office screen shows a rotating QR. Staff scan it on the phone. The punch still has to match an assigned geofence.
Face match
The employee enrolls a selfie once. On punch, the app compares a new photo so someone else cannot use the phone.
WhatsApp IN / OUT
Optional Meta WhatsApp flow: send IN or OUT and share live location. Alerts and attendance can use the same channel when the plan includes it.

What the map shows
Latest GPS from each tracked employee: on site, left the fence, or last ping time. The map uses every ping; the list beside it pages when the team is large.
What a task run is
A dated list of stops — client visit, delivery, office duty, or arrival/departure. Staff start, update percent, and complete. Location-bound Done is GPS-checked.
What is auto-logged
Late arrival, early departure, under working hours, missed attendance, left site, missed punch-out, route deviation, and missed tasks against the shift and assignments.

FAQ
Common questions
Must someone be inside a geofence to punch?+
Yes for a valid site punch. Locations have a pin and a radius. The phone sends GPS; the server checks that point against assigned sites. A punch from outside the fence is rejected or flagged.
What if GPS or mobile data drops?+
The app can queue punches while offline and send them when the network returns. Live map updates pause until the phone reports again. Supervisors still see the last known point.
Who sees the live map?+
Portal roles: Super Admin, Admin, and Supervisor. Employees do not get the org-wide live map. They see their own map, geofences, and task stops.
How does billing work?+
Admins subscribe in the portal in PKR. JazzCash, Easypaisa, and card are supported. Twelve-month checkout is 10% off. A Super Admin can issue a trial. Checkout runs in demo mode if gateway keys are not set.
Is WhatsApp required?+
No. WhatsApp punches and alerts are optional and sit on Professional and Enterprise. Email, in-app, and push still work without it.
Do we need face or fingerprint?+
Optional. Device Face ID or fingerprint can unlock the app. The company can also require biometric or a face match on punch so the phone alone is not enough.
Can a turnstile or attendance device punch?+
Yes on Professional and Enterprise. Create a device API key under Integrations and POST punches with an employee code. Events show on the same attendance record.
Who punches, and who administers?+
Employees punch only in the mobile app. Admins and supervisors run the web portal — users, sites, tasks, live map, reports, and billing. Super Admin manages companies and licenses.
